The shapes of the sculpture she creates are quite known, but a subtle change, a barely noticeable gesture cancels what seems to have become dull and it offers a touch of freshness. A fine moulding, elegant in its fluidity, sensitizes the forms and it creates small surprises beyond the immediate visual suggestions. Maintaining, at this level, the correspondence with a real ensemble allows her to move in a more relaxed manner, especially in portrait, a genre that is so difficult and controversial. The portrait, in its understanding, is solemn, without giving up the physiognomic detail. The vague echo of Egyptian sculpture comes from the willingness to isolate an expression, a dominant of individuality.
