CRITICAL REVIEW


           The volumetric discourse of the artist materializes through a ready-made type of approach, in which Reka Ugron takes possession of a series of plastic mannequins and, through artistic intervention, she removes them from the anonymous crowd. Presented in the Plastic People project, exhibition that was held in 2009 in Calina Gallery, the humanoid objects are bearers of the critical message addressed to a social and economic system marked by the vision of consumerism.
