CRITICAL REVIEW

The works from the Diary Pages series are distinguishable by the clarity of intent, and the 2012 exhibition Personal Mythologies represents a moment of unveiling a symbolic-expressionist autoradiography. Conceived as a dialogue with a personal reality, the volumes similar in shape, dimension and proportion shelter the signs of an intimate disinhibited mythology. The works are created in a decorative manner, focused on the use of symbols that become totems. The molded Torsos series reveal a profound knowledge of anatomy, suggesting through spontaneous expressivity the power to render the dramatic and dynamic traits of the human body.
