CRITICAL REVIEW

       
        Ana Rus is existentially related to the secrecy of the volumes and the passion for molding shapes is in her case a personality trait which had manifested since childhood, as the artist declared in many interviews. Her art represents a space of safety and joy, in which one can encounter themes linked to the protective, maternal femininity of the artist. Series of works such as Genesis and Maternity underline the continuous preoccupation for comprehending the human body and the inner moods that determine certain physical expressions. The stylistic perspective of a classic nature that can be perceived both at a technical level and from a thematic point of view is the result of education, of study and of an attempt to immortalize / eternize an ideal of beauty which aims at the equilibrium between form and expression.
