The ironic, clever and creative young sculptor has exhibited works since his student days, standing out through the energy and consistency of the volumetric replicas invented by him. His works contain, besides the abstract sense of belonging, clear references to anatomical details. The research of geometric bodies is intimately linked to events from the recent history of Romania or to personal events, from the sculptor’s recent past. An open / noticeable critical tendency is relevant in works such as: The Star Has a Name, a sculpture presented in the 1990 Project, reveals the provoking nature of the artist which is reflected into projects such as God’s Finger.
