GHILDUŞ, Alexandru

Designer by profession, Alexandru Ghilduș is the author of decorative and sculptural objects, which reduce monumental aspiration projects to indoor size. Sometimes he builds with this elements – the core of some complex installations – symbolic assemblies. The favourite material is the crystal, combined (or not) with metal and collared masses fluids or static. He exploits the inexplicit valences of the glass’ transparency, underlined by the geometric forms, or the implicit contrast of a frozen movement. The relationship with the brute metal from the monumental assemblies, creates not only visual effects, but also a diffuse and significant field.
