Through his art, Cătălin Bădărău confers an impressive complexity to the human being. The man is the one who circumscribes the universe through his own interiority and, as a consequence, the one exposed to the most intimate and profound tensions, to the most unexpected, intriguing experiences. Hence, the body becomes the most limpid / transparent form of expressing the interiority, the aesthetics of these sculptures being characterised precisely by this excessive expressiveness according to which innermost feelings are reproduced through thrilling sculptural forms.
