    BIOGRAPHY

    (Valea Budei, 1856 - Bucharest, 1918)

    Academic studies:
    1875 - 1881- National School of Fine Arts, with Karl Storck, Bucharest;
    1882 - 1886 – studies in Paris with sculptors Emmanuel Frémiet (1824-1910) and Jean-Alexandre-Joseph Falguière (1831-1900);
    1887 – continues training in Italy, first in Rome, then in Florence.

    1883 – Official Salon, Paris, France;
    1899, 1890, 1896, 1909, 1911, 1914 - Official Salon, Bucharest; 
    1893 – Artistic Circle, Bucharest;

    1892, 1894, 1899 – Exhibition of living artists, Bucharest.
