CRITICAL REVIEW

Gheorghe Coman alternates sculptures with historical themes, where he cultivates the synthetic, summary type with an abstract once. The composition is usually clear, simple, ordered according to the principles of symmetry.  From the diversity of the materials he uses – stone, metal, bronze – Gheorghe Coman knew how to develop both the stylistic variety in balance with the work’s purpose and the theme he chooses.
