He excels in portraits. He models a gallery of remarkable portraits of painters - Gh. Iacob, Constantin Crăciun – and contemporary writers - Nicolae Labiş, Marin Preda, Şerban Cioculescu, Radu Boureanu, Ion Horea, Corneliu Leu. He makes bronze and marble compositions with historical and social themes. As an illustrator, he showed his skills especially in the lint drawing. He was also a writer, author of several novels that had some success at the time. He also wrote film scripts, feature reports, literary and art critique.
