In the mass of the wood – his favourite material until now – the artist looks for shapes that communicate with the universe of the popular sculpture and of the plastic with a sacred feature: architectural and decorative pieces, symbolic elements connected to various rituals (the passing, the housel). These are parting points for surprising volumetric structures that sharply reveal constructive and evocative ideas. His small compositions promise ample developments, growing without dislocating the space, amplifying the conceptual levels they carry.
